Inside the software

Built around how a local loan book actually runs.

Insofs Finance Management isn't generic accounting software — it's built specifically for financiers running daily, weekly and monthly collections, with the adjustments and edge cases a paper ledger has always had to absorb by hand.

Field entries land in the same ledger

Whether you enter a collection yourself or an agent records it on the road, it syncs into one customer ledger — no re-keying from a paper collection sheet at the end of the day.

Daily / Weekly / Monthly Loan Tracking

Each loan is set up against its own collection cycle, so due dates, instalment amounts and the collection calendar are correct from day one. Mix all three across your customer base without keeping separate books.

Automatic Interest & Adjustment Calculation

Interest accrues against the cycle you've set. Part-payments, missed instalments, penalties and top-up loans are entered as adjustments, and the running balance recalculates instantly — no side calculator, no manual carry-forward.

Collection Agent / Field App

Agents in the field record each collection against the borrower's account as it happens — cash collected, running balance, next due date — instead of carrying a paper sheet back to enter later. Entries reflect in your main ledger the same day.

Reports & Analytics

See the day's total collection, a live overdue list and closing balances across all your loans, without adding up register pages by hand. Pull a report for one agent, one loan type, or the whole book.

WhatsApp reminders in Telugu and English

On the overdue list, one button opens WhatsApp with the reminder already written — the client's name, the principal, the balance and how many months they are behind, in Telugu and again in English. You read it and press Send yourself, so nothing goes out by accident. There is no API to sign up for and no charge per message, and you edit the wording yourself on the Settings screen.

eKYC-style onboarding from the Aadhar card

Photograph the client's Aadhar card and the name, Aadhar number and full address are read off it and written into the form for you to check — far faster than typing, and fewer wrong digits. The number is checksum-verified, the same Aadhar can never be registered against two clients by mistake, and the card image is filed against the client at the same moment, so the proof and the record arrive together. To be exact: this reads the card, it does not contact UIDAI, so it is not an authenticated eKYC — what it removes is the typing, the typos and the duplicate accounts.

Post a whole day from a photo of the paper sheet

Your agent still carries the printed run sheet and still writes the amounts on it in pen — nothing about their round changes. Back at the office, photograph the filled sheet and upload it: the handwriting is read line by line, matched to the right loan, and the collection grid opens with the amounts already entered. The office checks and corrects it on a normal editable screen, and nothing reaches the ledger until Confirm is pressed, so a misread digit is caught before it becomes a payment. Anyone who would rather type than photograph can download the same sheet as a fillable CSV and upload that instead. Reading handwriting needs a Google Cloud Vision key — about five minutes to set up once, free for the first 1,000 sheets a month — and without it the CSV route and the on-screen grid work exactly as normal.

Bring your existing book in by spreadsheet

Clients, loans, adjustments, payments, transactions and users each have their own Import CSV and Export CSV, so a business already running on Excel — or on another piece of software — moves in without retyping years of records. Import in order: clients, then loans, then payments, since each refers back to the one before. A row whose ID already exists is skipped rather than duplicated, so a half-finished import can simply be run again. Export works the same way in reverse: every list and report leaves as CSV for your auditor, your partner or your own spreadsheet — which is also your exit, since the data is yours and there is no fee for taking it.
